The Essex Contract Bridge Association does not endorse any particular courses or teachers, but as a service to potential students, it provides links to bridge courses and learning opportunities in Essex that it is aware of, concentrating on those due to start in September 2007.

There are three categories of opportunities for learning Bridge in Essex:

 

CATEGORY 1: ADULT EDUCATION COLLEGES, offered through colleges managed by Essex County Council.  Click on the hyperlinks below for full details.

CATEGORY 2: 'BRIDGE FOR ALL' SCHEME.  'Bridge for All' is a standard teaching scheme that has been developed over a number of years by the English Bridge Union and it is offered by teachers who have themselves completed the EBU training programme.  There is overlap between opportunities in this category with those shown in categories 1 and 3.
