Winter Novice Competition for Pairs 2005
The Winter Novice Pairs competition is open ONLY to current pupils at bridge classes or other inexperienced players. It is played as a single-section event and is aimed specifically at second year students upwards, or those who have recently completed a course. Players may use any styles within Level 2 - including Standard English or Modern ACOL.
The competition serves two main purposes:
It is a fun event!
It enables players to practise and further develop what has been learnt in
Bridge classes by playing against other players of a similar standing.
Prizes are awarded to the leading pairs.
Date: Sunday November 27th 2005
Time: 2.45 p.m. for a 3.00 p.m. start, finishing at 6.30 to 7.00 p.m.
Place: Stock Village Hall, Common Road, Stock. This venue is just
off the B1007 Chelmsford to Billericay Road, opposite the Bakers Arms Public
House, at the northern end of Stock. Easily accessible from the
A12/B1007 junction.
Entries:
Fee: £4.00 per person (which includes tea / coffee and
biscuits). Cheques payable to Essex C.B.A.
